Common Questions About Our Massage Services
Answers to commonly asked questions about sessions, preparation, safety, and expected results.
During your Massage session you'll begin with a brief consultation to discuss concerns and goals. Therapist uses hands-on techniquesāassisted stretching, cranial sacral, or focused head/neck workāadjusting pressure. You can communicate comfort levels anytime; sessions prioritize safety and results.
Wear comfortable clothing and arrive hydrated; avoid heavy meals right before your appointment. Complete intake forms and inform therapist about injuries, medications, or pregnancy. Arrive five to ten minutes early to settle in so treatment begins relaxed and on time.
Cranial Sacral Therapy is gentle and generally safe for most clients, including those sensitive to pressure. We screen for medical conditions and adjust techniques when necessary. If you have recent head injury, bleeding disorder, or implants, tell your therapist before treatment.
Assisted Stretch focuses on improving joint range and flexibility through guided movements, while massage emphasizes soft-tissue manipulation for tension release and circulation. Both complement one another; therapists often combine techniques within a session to address mobility, pain, and relaxation simultaneously.
Frequency depends on goals: weekly or biweekly sessions work well for acute pain or flexibility goals; monthly maintenance suits stress relief and general wellness. Your therapist will recommend a plan based on progress, lifestyle, and response to treatments.
You choose your comfort level. For many techniques you may undress to your comfort and be draped appropriately; some assisted stretches or cranial sacral therapy can be performed while clothed. Communicate preferences and therapists will adapt for privacy.
